1. WHAT IS BANKEEZ?

Bankeez is the solution for my fundraisings! This service is available on www.bankeez.com and on Bankeez mobile app. It makes it possible for groups (friends, workmates, families, clubs, organizations, etc.) to collect, manage and retrieve shared funds which have been paid online by credit card, through a bank transfer.

2. WHEN CAN I USE BANKEEZ?

Bankeez is perfectly suited for many different everyday situations. With relatives, in order to reimburse each other after a skiing holiday or after a dinner at the restaurant with some friends, in order to fund the purchase of a shared gift or to collect contributions for a poker tournament; within a club or an organization, in order to sell tickets for a party, collect annual subscription fees or admission fees for a tournament. 3. WHO CAN USE BANKEEZ?

Bankeez is available to all individuals over the age of 18 or individuals aged 14 years and over who use the website in agreement and under the supervision of their legal representative, and who want to simplify the management of their shared expenses!

Fundraising management

4. HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE TO A FUNDRAISING?

In order to contribute to a fundraising, one needs to:
Click on the invitation or follow the link to the fundraising
Login or provide a few details
Pay online by credit card, through the online secure payment platform, operated by Bankeez’ banking partner.

5. DOES BANKEEZ ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS?

Yes. One single requirement: contributors must pay with a credit card accepted on the online secure payment platform and eligible to 3D Secure. Every payment realized through Bankeez will be charged in euros; potential exchange fees will be assumed by the payer.

6. WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM AMOUNTS FOR A FUNDRAISING AND A CONTRIBUTION?

For a fundraising: 1€ minimum; 20 000€ maximum.

For a contribution: 1€ minimum; 2 500€ maximum.

7. WHAT IS THE LIFETIME OF A FUNDRAISING?

A fundraising has the duration chosen by the organizer. This duration may be changed at any time. A fundraising whose balance is positive remains valid during 12 months from its closure date. After 12 months, the organizer is asked to withdraw the remaining funds within fifteen (15) business days, before the fundraising is automatically closed and before all the funds might be withdrawn by Bankeez.

Any fundraising whose balance is null will be automatically closed after 12 months.

Within this 12 month duration, the organizer can ask the closure of a fundraising at any time, and the potentially reopen it if necessary.

8. HOW CAN I INVITE PEOPLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE FUNDRAISING?

When I set up a fundraising, I can invite people through different ways:

- Enter their email address, in order to have an invitation sent by Bankeez.

- Share the URL link to the fundraising, in a personal message, on a website, on a blog or on the social networks.

- Send an invitation or share the fundraising on Facebook or on Twitter, thanks to the appropriate button on Bankeez website

I can also invite people to join a fundraising I haven’t personally created, thanks to the URL link to the fundraising and to Facebook invitations.

9. WHAT IS A FUNDRAISING GROUP?

I can organize a fundraising on Bankeez by myself or in the name of several co-organizers, gathered within a group.

When a fundraising is set up in the name of a group, the organizer can appoint members of the group, who will be co-administrator of the fundraising and who will be granted extended rights, including access to fundraising data.

10. DO I HAVE TO REGISTER ON BANKEEZ BEFORE I CAN CREATE A FUNDRAISING?

Yes, so my fundraising can be activated. I just need to fill in my identity details and my user login for the registration process. I will have the opportunity to complete this process later, once the fundraising is set up, for example if I want to be transferred the funds raised.

11. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN CASE OF A DISAGREEMENT ON A FUNDRAISING OR WITHIN A FUNDRAISING GROUP (for example if some contributors do not pay, if the money raised is misused, etc.)?

Bankeez is the provider of the fundraising platform. Nevertheless Bankeez is by no means responsible for the conduct of contributors and for the potential resulting disputes.

12. WHO HOLDS THE FUNDS CONTRIBUTED?

The money contributed online is collected by the bank which operates the online secure payment platform; it is then cashed-in by the e-money issuer Tunz, on a bank account managed by Credit Mutuel Arkea where it will be held during the whole duration of the fundraising.

Retrieval of the money raised

13. HOW CAN I RETRIEVE THE FUNDS RAISED?

Once its banking details are saved on its profile, the organizer can withdraw the funds at any time from its Bankeez account.

The organizer is considered by default as the beneficiary of the withdrawal, but the funds can be split between several bank transfers, spread over time and/or to the benefice of several beneficiaries.

14. WHO BEARS THE RESPONSABILITY OF THE FUNDS RAISED?

The organizer of the fundraising is the only one entitled to decide to retrieve the funds raised. He is therefore the only user authorized to submit a request for bank transfer. Excluding the case of a different request, the organizer is considered by default as the beneficiary of the fundraising.

15. WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT FOR A BANK TRANSFER?

The minimum amount for a bank transfer is €1. The organizer has one free bank transfer to his own benefit per fundraising. A fee of €0.30 will be charged for any additional bank transfer.

16. WHERE CAN I FIND MY IBAN AND BIC CODES?

The IBAN is the international identification standard for my bank account, while the BIC is the international identification standard for my bank. I can find them on my regular bank identity slip.

They will be soon required for any bank transfer; Bankeez helps me develop good habits!

17. HOW LONG BETWEEN A WITHDRAWAL REQUEST AND THE BANK TRANSFER?

Any withdrawal request is processed in the shortest time possible by our team. Once the request has been validated, the bank transfer order is transmitted to the bank. Funds are then credited to the bank account within 2 business days in average, like any usual bank transfer.

18. CAN I CANCEL A WITHDRAWAL REQUEST?

As long as the withdrawal request has not been validated by Bankeez, it can be cancelled on demand sent to Bankeez.

Once submitted to the bank, a request for a bank transfer cannot be cancelled.

19. IS IT SECURE?

Since as it is all about my money and the main objective is to make things easier for me, security at Bankeez is obviously a top priority. At every step throughout my use of the service, reinforced procedures set up by Bankeez and its partners ensure the risk is minimal: secure browsing on the website; online secure payment platform operated by Bankeez’ banking partner; cash-in and management of the monies collected and processed by Tunz, a duly authorized bank offering the strongest guarantees; encrypted and secure back-up of my personal data.

20. IS MY MONEY SAFE?

Beyond the safety of the system and of the website, online payments by credit card are secured by Payline, certified 3D Secure and providing strong protection against potential fraud.

The money paid by credit card is cashed-in by Tunz, a duly authorized bank, and held in a bank account managed by Credit Mutuel Arkea.

21. ARE MY ONLINE PAYMENTS SAFE?

Beyond the safety of the system and of the website, online payments by credit card are secured by Payline, certified 3D Secure and providing strong protection against potential fraud.

My account

22. WHY SOULD MY IDENTITY BE CHECKED?

In accordance with legal provisions against money-laundering and financing of terrorism, it is important to Bankeez to make sure its users make proper use of its service and of the funds sent through it. It is therefore possible that a user, who wishes to be the beneficiary of one or more bank transfer(s) (including if the total amount exceeds 1 000€ within a period of one year or less), can be asked to send to Bankeez, by mail or by email, a copy of its ID as well as a bank identity slip including his name and a bill proving his address. Once the ID-check has been processed and the transaction has been validated, these documents will be archived by Bankeez on a dedicated and secure storage space.

23. HOW CAN I SEND MY PROOF OF IDENTITY?

When asked by Bankeez to prove my identity, in accordance with legal provisions against money-laundering and financing of terrorism, all I need to do is to send by mail or by email a copy of my ID as well as a bank identity slip including my name and a bill proving my address.

24. CAN I UPDATE MY PERSONAL DATA AND MY BANKING DETAILS?

Once I have signed up on Bankeez, I can modify the data I submitted at any time, through the link “Modify my profile”.

25. WHAT SHALL I DO IF I LOSE MY LOGIN DETAILS?

I need to contact Bankeez customer service, who will help me recover them or create new ones.

26. CAN I CANCEL / CLOSE A FUNDRAISING?

As long as no money has been contributed to this fundraising, I can delete it from my Bankeez account, or through a request to Bankeez customer services.

If some money has already been contributed, I first need to submit a request for the bank transfer of all the money collected, before I can close the fundraising directly online.

27. CAN I CLOSE MY ACCOUNT?

Yes, upon written request sent to Bankeez customer services. I first need to make sure I have retrieved all the money available in my fundraisings.
